Ca S`Hereu dates back to the 13th century and it is kept up in excellent conditions. It is the ideal place to relax and spend an unforgettable time with the family and friends.
Due to ancient chronicles, Ca´s Hereu was the origin of the village of Son Servera.
It has been restored respecting and recovering all its original architectonic elements: The spiral staircase is a sample of its historical architecture. The kitchen keeps its authentic character. Olive trees creating a delicate and quiet atmosphere surround the elegant façade.
Ca S´Hereu was an active farm until the decade of the seventieth of the 20th century. Its main activity has been cattle raising and cultivation of olives, almonds and carobs. In those years Ca S´Hereu had more than 100 employees working in the farm. At present time the descendants of Rubí-Servera´s family are involved in rural tourism.
"Ses Cases de Ca s`Hereu" is part of the village of Son Servera, in the east of Mallorca.
Nowadays it is catalogued as historic heritage.
Crossing the porch you will enter into a great hall. There is not only one central arch but also two, and a stair leading to the upper floor. At left side there is a round arch leading the way to the tower. Still in the ground floor is the kitchen, without any doubt the most singular piece of the house, giving the character of authenticity with a huge open fireplace?
With 7 bedrooms and bathrooms (two with double beds), located in the old tower, first floor and ground floor. Large lounges, two with open fire place. Beside the stair, which leads to the top of the tower, is the antic chapel of the mansion. The decoration and furniture are true examples of Mallorca ´s tradition and way of life. Outside are wide spaces and garden, the ideal place to relax or for children´s fun.
In a few words, here you can recover the essence of the past without missing the comforts of present time. You will enjoy beautiful views over the mountains and the sea. Those you choose bed and breakfast may take it in the cosy kitchen and taste the typical Majorcan gastronomy like ensaimada (pastry) sobrasada (typical sausage) "pa amb oli I tomàtiga" (bread with tomatoes and olive oil), cheese and other fresh products.
