In the south of the island, between fields of almond and fig trees, just 500 mts. from the village of Ses Salines and 6 km from the sea, stands the ancient stone house of Sa Carrotja, one of the oldest in the village. It is a construction typical of the Majorcan rural scene, dating from the 16th century, and has been completely restored.
The restoration has preserved the traditional and original character of the house, whilst adapting to the comfort needs of modern living.
