The old houses of Roquets, dating back to the 13th Century, form part of one of seven orders of chivalry granted by King James I to seven noblemen who collaborated with him in the Conquest of Mallorca in 1229.
They can be found in a raised area in the municipality of Maria de la Salut. (500 metres from the town), between the emblematic village of Sineu (in the centre of the island) and the beaches of the bay of Alcudia.
They have been recently reformed, conserving their architectural beauty, in order to fit in 4 apartments on top of the old “cellar” of the houses, which together with the houses of the garden make up this ensemble of rural tourism.
Magnificent views of the Sierra de Tramontana and Arta mountains can be seen from the apartments’ spacious windows and Maria de la Salut can be seen from the garden and further in the distance the towns of Inca, Alcudia, Santa Margarita and the sea.
