Filicumis is a farm built in 1828 situated just below the Tramuntana Mountain Chain. Three kilometres From the village of Lloseta. It`s a typical Mallorcan farm with the central court and well. It`s interesting the old olive press used for making oil.
The surrounding land is about eighty hectares with almond, olive and fig trees. In the orchard you can enjoy picking oranges and lemons. There is also a picnic area and a barbecue to prepare good meals with friends or family. Guests will find relax and a place for evasion.
Filicumis it’s situated in an exceptional place, next to the Tramuntana Mountain Chain (Serra de Tramontana) but also to the little interior villages of Mallorca (Pla de Mallorca). From there you can enjoy the landscape of the old muslin fortress of Alaró, you can do a nice trip to the "Tossals Verds" which is a protected area.
You can visit also Binissalem for its old stoned houses. Picturesques villages like Caimari, Mancor or Selva on the way to the monastery of Lluc. Inca is famous for the shoes factories and "cellers" (typical restaurants in old cellars where wine was made).
If you want a beach day, driving for twenty minutes you arrive at the bays of Alcudia or Pollença. In the village of Lloseta you can geat easily what you need or enjoy food restaurants "Can Carrosa" or "Can Santi Taura".
