THE FINCA – COUNTRY ESTATE
Son Pons is a magnificent country estate of 150.000 m² located in the North of Majorca. It belongs to the municipality of Búger, one of the smallest and calmer places in the island. Its privileged situation next to the mountain range of the Serra de Tramuntana is only 10’ away from the beach, a golf course, the nature reserve lagoon of S’Albufera, and Pollensa.
The country state has been declared a wildlife sanctuary. Due to the fact that the flora and fauna are protected one can enjoy a great number native species that have multiplied along the past years. Son Pons has a great variety of trees and pasture for sheep, as well as its own oak woodland and stream. The ample privacy provided will allow you to enjoy nature and the surroundings in an oasis of calm.
THE HOUSE – HOTEL
The building dates from the XVIth Century. Due to its historical importance it is recorded in the ‘Gran Enciclopedia de Mallorca’. It has been restored preserving the traditional style of the old houses of the island. Architectural elements of the past such as beams, canework ceilings, stonewalls, and buttresses are combined with modern facilities to provide you with excellent comfort.
The house has several types of rooms: spacious Junior Suites, a Superior Junior Suite and a Suite of 75m². All rooms are provided with a living area, and some have private entry, private terrace, fireplace, Jacuzzi or hydro-massage bath. The hotel offers comfortable and roomy livings, dining room with fireplace, barbecue, a patio dating back to the XVIth Century, a swimming pool (14m x 6m), porches, and garden.
